About the Role
The Technical Program Manager, Office Technical Infrastructure Buildouts bridges the gap between Workplace/Real Estate, Corporate IT (or Corporate Engineering or Enterprise Engineering), Physical Security and other partner teams to design and deliver technical solutions for new office buildout and remodel projects. This includes all low voltage, network infrastructure, audio visual and related IT scopes of work.
In this role, you will:
Cross-functional coordinate between internal client teams, construction team and other vendors/service providers
Gather programming requirements as inputs to solutions development
Manage the design, bid, implementation, commissioning and handover process for ISP connectivity, low voltage cabling and network infrastructure (MDF/IDF, MPOEs, inside/outside cabling plant, etc.)
Manage the design, bid, implementation, commissioning and handover process for audio-visual/video-conference systems (digital signage, wayfinding systems, conference rooms, training rooms and all hands spaces). Develop program around conference room maintenance and operations.
Partner with Physical Security team to implement supporting infrastructure and network integration for access control, surveillance systems and intrusion detection
Manage project schedules, status updates, executive communications for the builds portfolio
Develop drawing packages and specification narratives in support of project design and execution
Implement smart building technology in new and existing offices
Provide guidance to client FP&A on budget and cost management
Mentor and support client IT teams as needed to support project delivery tasks
Identify, categorize, mitigate and monitor project delivery risks
You might thrive in this role if you have:
Strong project and program management capabilities
Strong knowledge of the architectural design process (schematic design, design development, construction documents)
Strong knowledge of commercial real estate construction processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Vendor management experience (Vendor vetting, RFP and bid response, performance management, handover)
Understanding of mechanical power and cooling systems and capacity planning
Ability to read construction and engineering plan drawings
PMP or equivalent project management certification
