As a key collaborator with the sales team, you'll strategically qualify opportunities, offer compelling demonstrations, and respond to RFIs/RFPs, leaving an indelible mark on the industry.What The Role Offers• Providing technical support and sales expertise to pre-sales and post-sales situations within a designated sales region (North America).• Formulating technical strategies and tactics for sales in support of OpenText products and services and functioning as an integral part of the sales team.• Technically qualifying sales opportunities via discovery calls and meetings.• Understanding customer business issues, mapping them to the technical solution and providing a roadmap for the customer’s success.• Providing ad-hoc and custom demonstrations of the OpenText product set.• Presenting technical features and business benefits of the OpenText product.• Responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.• Meeting customers stated and agreed upon opportunity acceptance criteria – this could involve running a Proof of Concept.What You Need To Succeed• 2+ years in B2B Enterprise Content Management (ECM) software presales solutions• 2+ years in a customer-facing technical role.• Previous experience working with OpenText (ECM) products preferred.• Excellent customer relations including written and oral communications skills.• Demonstrate a team attitude while enjoying a high level of independence.• Ability to respond appropriately in a dynamic, client-oriented organization.• Travel requiredOne Last ThingOpenText is more than just a corporation, it's a global community where trust is foundational, the bar is raised, and outcomes are owned.
