The Operational Risk Administration Officer role within Operational Risk Management (“ORM”) is responsible for managing ORM administration and governance routines. The Ops Risk Admin Officer must have a basic understanding of risk and project management concepts. This role is expected to manage deliverables in a dynamic and matrixed environment while embracing a collaborative and agile approach.
The position has responsibility for Ops Risk Chief of Staff business support including monthly business performance dashboards and quarterly business reviews, staffing and financial monitoring and reporting, ORM leadership, extended leadership, and all-hands routines, recognition, and DE&I action plan execution. This role will also be responsible for driving ORM implementation of enterprise-level and Risk Management initiatives and ensuring that ORM's strategic priorities remain appropriately aligned. Governance responsibilities will primarily focus on oversight of key management routines across ORM including Operational Risk Committee planning and delivery, Risk Profile support, Ops Risk regulatory change management facilitation, ORM third party risk assessments, ORM owned procedural reviews, and review and challenge of new/changed operational risk information maintained within the GRC tool. This role will work across the ORM organization and partner closely with Enterprise Risk Management teams, and will have opportunity to identify and implement strategic improvements across ORM processes to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Develop and maintain monthly business performance dashboards and quarterly business reviews for presentment to the Chief of Operational Risk Oversight (CORO)

Maintain staffing and financial monitoring and reporting through HR and Finance business partners; include information in dashboard and business reviews for CORO

Manage planning and logistics for ORM leadership, extended leadership, and all-hands routines, recognition, and DE&I action plan execution

Oversee enterprise-level, Risk Management level, and ORM strategic initiatives/change implementation efforts

Maintain the ORM Strategic Roadmap, overseeing timely execution of strategic priorities, and ensuring alignment of supporting OR strategy documentation

Serving as the ORM liaison with training, learning, and communication partners

Support quarterly Risk Management line of business risk profile updates and enterprise-wide Ops Risk profile updates

Manage Operational Risk Committee planning and delivery with CORO and ORM leadership

Facilitate Ops Risk regulatory change management facilitation across ORM leaders and in partnership with Compliance

Oversee ORM third party risk assessments for ORM outsourced engagements

Conduct ORM owned procedural reviews

Serve as the Ops Risk SME for review and challenge of new/changed operational risk information maintained within the GRC tool working across appropriate ORM resources
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
-
Bachelor’s Degree preferred, will consider equivalent role experience; risk management certifications considered a plus

Strong background in business support preferably within Risk Management or similar environment

Understanding of financial risk management, three lines of defense model, associated industry type frameworks, and external risk management expectations

Solid understanding of operational risk through first, second, or third line of defense experience

Strong relationship management skills

Strong organizational and documentation skills; detail oriented

Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced, changing environment

Solid written and oral communications

Excellent time management skills with the ability to set priorities

Proven track record of integrity ethics, judgment, and maturity

Strong with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $85,000 to $110,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
