Job Summary

The Operations Associate will support the overall mission of the Student Health Center by assisting students, faculty, staff, families and visitors of the medical and/or counseling center. The operations associate will be responsible for the organization and exchange of confidential health information through verbal, written and computerized information systems.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 2 or more years of related experience

Applicants must meet stated minimum education and experience requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a Health Care setting
• Certificate in Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA)

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and e-mail
• Excellent customer service and telephone skills
• Ability to prioritize, plan, and organize
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to compose routine correspondence and reports
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies
• Ability to assesses situations, consider alternatives and chooses appropriate course of action
