Operations Director Wild Flavors NA -Erlanger, KY
This is a full-time, exempt position.
Main Purpose of Job:
Drive innovative and sustainable cost optimized Operations, towards delivering distinct competitive advantage for ADM Nutrition WF and the Customer, by ensuring optimized processes to - ensure people SAFETY - ensure food Safety, - maximize product availability.
Key Outputs:-
Responsible for managing the operative Operations organisation in the region NA (Support to drive costs, services, quality, competitiveness to be best in class)

Responsible for the execution and completion of Operations projects in strong collaboration with CoE (Center of Excellence)

Building risk analysis and making recommendations / decisions based on data and robust industry knowledge
-
Deciding, recommending and adjusting various operational strategies
-
Identifying opportunities to simplify or improve processes to ensure efficiency
-
Holding senior stakeholders to account to ensure that projects are on track - inside and outsite of OPS Organisation
-
Ownership of OPS KPI deliverables and improvements
-
Managing the budget across the scope of operations (partially also warehousing, transportation, - SC)

Understanding the NA OPS landscape, assessing the interaction between systems and people, scoping future requirements - also in context of CO Manufacturing

Built up international network within ADM Nutrition and other business units - to share best practises

Ensure people development across area of responsibility and manage active succession planning

Act cross functional as intrapreneuer within the ADM WF Operations Organisation and the WF Business Leadership team

Ensure compliance with ADM Corporate Business Principles and Operation Policies
-
Follow all aspects of our operations to be compliant with Food Safety, Environment, Quality, Safety and Occupational Health related policies

Key Experience:
Education-
University Degree or equivalent with specialization in Production / Engineering (additional asset: Business Administration)

Proven project management skills and ability to think strategically

Comfortable influencing stakeholders at all levels, including leadership team

Highly self-directed, with a strong creative problem solving mind set

Fluency in market/regional languages is required
Experience-
Experience of having worked in a similar position with an International Company (in area of FMCG would be an advantage (logistics, distribution, sales etc.).

Minimum 5 years experience in OPS function: Plant Management / multiple site responsibility; or Manager of Managers in technical environment (MOM, CoE)

Experience in food industry, powder blending, liquid mixing, extraction, destillation;

Key target Companies in the market: Givaudan, Firmenich, Symrise, Dupont, Dow Chemical, Mc Cormick
