Operations Manager

Your Role

You will support General Manager in directing the daily activities of the distribution operations, labor scheduling, management and the proper use of space, equipment and workforce. Main responsibilities include: Staffing warehouse operations, maintenance of the Kuehne+Nagel Areas and equipment, implementation of quality, safety, security, housekeeping and sanitation programs, budgeting, P&L and customer service.

Your Responsibilities

• You will direct programs to ensure the operation is efficient, cost-effective
• You will plan and schedule all logistics services including receiving, inspection, storing, delivery, handling returned/damaged goods, maintenance, and administrative activities to ensure customer requirements are met and in compliance with all applicable regulatory and quality standards.
• You will plan long range labor needs based on sales forecasts and input from management.
• Work with Business Manager and Warehouse Supervisor to establish goals.
• You will develop and monitor the space layout plan to ensure it continues to meet company cost and service standards.
• You will develop and implement an product locator system and update it accordingly
• Develop, implement and direct programs to ensure the safety and security of all personnel, equipment and property.
• You will Manage housekeeping program in warehouse and ensure accurate inventory control.
• You will manage systems and maintain compliance to ISO 9001 and AS 9100/9120 Quality Management Systems as applicable.
• Coordinate and assist with internal and external QMS, Compliance, Customer and Operational audits.
• You will ensure required training is provided to all employees to support the QMS according to the Training Matrix.

Your Skills and Experiences

• Four years of management experience in a faced-paced logistics environment.
• Proficiency in an automated warehouse environment, working knowledge of WMS technologies.
• Experience in aerospace industry standards
• Experience with ISO 9001 and AS 9100/9120 Quality Management Systems.

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
