We are currently seeking an Operations Manager at our coil processing center and distribution center in Streetsboro, Ohio.
The ideal candidate will have experience leading others to operational excellence while focusing on team safety, delivering a quality product, eliminating waste, developing effective and skilled teams, and meeting budgeted production and operational metrics.
Key duties/responsibilities:
- Making sure that all safety regulations and company policies are followed.
- Provide continuous safety training to employees.
- Provide effective cross job training and education for the various coil processing center equipment and plant duties.
- Monitoring overall productivity and implementing new strategies for increasing efficiency and scrap reduction.
- Management of production metrics, establishing best practices and benchmarking these results
- Document procedures
- Management and motivation of plant office and equipment/plant staff that will ensure employee satisfaction.
- Maintain a positive office and plant culture.
- Support a great customer experience by suppling a quality product with a 98% on time delivery goal.
- Be an involved leader for both the plant office staff and production team.
- Ability to coach, train and develop employees for advancement.
- Holds self and others accountable for measurable and cost-effective results. Follow through on commitments and execute on goals.
