Growing together.Schedule: : Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 1:50 - 10:00 PM ESTPrimary Responsibilities:• Prepares exam rooms by disinfecting, stocking, and verifying appropriate medications are available• Greets patients and assist them with signing in and completing paperwork• Answers incoming phone calls in a courteous and prompt manner• Assists and accompanies patients to exam rooms• Interviews patients and records information into the medical record• Measures, collects, and records patient vital signs• Performs basic lab testing and other approved tests• Displays proficient phlebotomy practices• Prepares specimens for transportation to the lab• Assists in examination and treatment of patients under clinician direction• Places follow-up phone calls to patients• Performs other duties as required• Traveling and providing coverage to neighboring sites as neededYou’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualification:• High school diploma or equivalentPreferred Qualifications:• Certification in Medical Assisting• Experience with vital signs and basic lab tests (urinalysis, pregnancy tests, etc.)• Epic experience• Proven solid computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office• Bilingual (English/Spanish)New York Residents Only: The hourly range for this role is $16.00 to $23.94 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
