This team focuses on product development and product strategy for Oracle Health, while building out a complete platform supporting modernized, automated healthcare. At Oracle Health, our mission is to improve healthcare and quality of life globally through better experience and easier access to health and research data for patients and healthcare providers.We are looking for hands-on TPM’s with expertise and passion in solving difficult problems in all areas of software engineering: distributed systems, identity, security, observability, and user experience.Who are we looking for?In this Principal Technical Program Management role, you will be working across a multi-functional team that understands our business and its objectives, to lead us through planning and designing technical solutions to solve the business’s problems in a very agile, fast-paced, and collaborative environment. The position relies heavily on influence rather than authority to drive projects.You will define project scopes, plan and direct schedules while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value; organize and lead project status and working meetings; prepare and distribute progress reports; manage risks and issues; correct deviations from plans; and perform delivery planning for assigned projects.You will monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. You will assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.You will collaborate closely with partners in program and product management to understand our customers and build the right solutions and products that makes their needs and businesses complete.You should possess exceptional problem-solving skills, strong business judgment, and notable experience collaborating in hybrid teams. You are a self-starter technical leader with a shown ability to execute both strategically and tactically, and someone who is excited to take on new projects.You have strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building. You should be customer-focused with a passion for the cloud. You will partner closely with peers, developers, and customers to create solutions, while simultaneously evolving existing capabilities.Job Requirements:• Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and Development/Engineering staff at all levels including the executive level.• Solid analytical, planning, and interpersonal skills with an ability to handle competing demands.• Strong knowledge and understanding of business need with the ability to establish/maintain high level of customer trust and confidence.• Strong experience of software development process models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment.• Strong skills to evaluate product performance metrics, as well as diagnose and resolve issues.• Experience with technical design discussions and ability to summarize complex trade-offs and options in presentation and technical documentation.• Ability to effectively represent engineering perspectives to partner organizations, product teams, and executive leadership.• Aptitude to work across and engage individuals and teams located across multiple geographies and or cultures.• Work as a lead contributor individually, and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others as needed/requested.• Drive other obligations management duties, as needed.Minimum Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in computer sciences, software engineering, technology management, business management, or similar.• 5+ years of experience as hands-on technical project / program manager; preferably in a related industry.• Advanced knowledge of the full life cycle of product development and experience launching and operating customer-facing cloud services.Preferred Qualifications:• 5+ years of project management, product design or related experience.• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent work experience• Thorough understanding of public cloud infrastructure services, such as Compute, Storage, Identity and Networking.• Experience in the healthcare industry and / or electronic medical records systems. Demonstrated knowledge of OCI or AWS, Azure, Google IaaS, SaaS and PaaS services.Career Level - IC3Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.
