Sr. Software Dev - Go / Kubernetes (AI Incubation)

Job Description• This role requires you to have experience with instrumentation, agents, large scale distributed systems,software architectures and Go programming language• Willingness to work on telemetry components to display queried data gathered from multiple backend services• You're an autonomous, cross-functional, and agile person who thrives in a fast-paced environment focused on delivering high-quality software at a regular cadence• You're self-motivated, learn fast, accountable and demonstrate creative problem-solving skills• Bonus points if you have Experience developing instrumentation products, helm charts• Experience developing on different Unix OSes and Windows• Upstream contributions to relevant Open Source projectsCareer Level - IC5ResponsibilitiesAs a member of the strategic customer management team, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of of key HPC observability products. Define specifications for significant new projects and specify, design and develop software according to those specifications.Required Qualifications• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in software development.• Extensive experience in developing applications using Go Lang.• Architect and develop microservices, APIs, and distributed systems in Go.• Optimize Go applications for performance and scalability.• Implement best practices for Go development, including concurrency patterns, error handling, and testing.• Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including cluster management, service mesh, and container orchestration.• Experience with major cloud platforms (e.g.,OCI, AWS, GCP, Azure) and their Kubernetes services (OKE, EKS, GKE, AKS).• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and experience in building microservices-based applications.• Proven experience with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).• Proficient with Git and version control best practices.• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, NVIDIA DGCM).• Knowledge of security best practices in software development and deployment.• Experience working in Agile development environments.QualificationsDisclaimer:Certain US customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization and occupational health mandates.Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations onlyUS: Hiring Range: from $96,800 - $251,600 per year.
