JT4 provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Navy, and Space Force under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. We develop and maintain realistic integrated test and training environments, and prepare our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.
RANGE POSITION DESCRIPTION
Perform customer service duties: issue and receive support equipment and maintain tool accountability utilizing Autonomic Logistic Information System (ALIS), the F-35 program of record for tool control. Locates lost or misplaced tools and equipment. Performs daily inventories or maintains perpetual inventory of tools and equipment, manually or using computer. Visually inspects tools and equipment for defects and wear, and reports damage or wear to supervisors. May mark and identify tools and equipment, using identification tag, stamp, or electric marking tool. Hazardous material support: issue, receive, inventory. Perform general housekeeping. Capable of obtaining and maintaining a flightline and forklift driver's license and First Responder Awareness Certification.
This position requires the ability to work second shift, Monday through Friday, overtime, weekend and standby duties.
REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Should be a high school graduate or equivalent and have 4 or more years of clerical experience, preferably in a supply, warehouse, or retail/wholesale working environment. Must be familiar with basic office equipment required for the position (i.e., PC, adding machine, typewriter, FAX, etc.). Must have typing skills, be familiar with the use of a personal computer, and experienced in entering data into a supply/materials computer database. Must have a valid state-issued driver's license. Must obtain and maintain a security clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen.
SALARY
The expected salary range for this position is $41,121 to $45,760 annually.

WORKING CONDITIONS
This position involves work typical of an office environment with no unusual hazards and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds (anything heavier requires two or more people or mechanical assistance). Outdoor duties are required occasionally, with exposure to natural weather and greasy or oily working surfaces. Government vehicle is used on an as needed basis. Must be able to work duty days in excess of eight hours, perform shift and weekend work to meet required schedule demands, and work independently with minimal supervision. Position may require travel.

Conversely, employees should not allow other JT4 employees or employees of another employer to use JT4 owned or assigned equipment without proof of training and approval from the shop manager
