Order Fulfillment Team Member II

Position Purpose
This position is responsible for performing installation of attachments and parts while ensuring consistent product quality is delivered to customers. This position is also responsible for both the inspection and repair of imported and work order modified machines to meet JCB Global standards.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities

• Process machine work orders
• Installation of attachments and parts
• Identify and order parts required to complete repairs or modifications of all JCB equipment prior to shipment
• Assist with retrofit and rework of customer’s orders as necessary
• Machine troubleshooting and adjustment
• Perform diagnostic testing and repair of electrical circuits, hydraulic circuits, manual and power shift transmissions, brake systems, hydrostatic circuits and computer-controlled systems
• Responsible for physical appearance of work area.
• Operate in a safe manner.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures.

Nature & Scope
Reports to Order Fulfillment Group Leader

Minimum Qualifications

• Must pass any drug screens, background checks and any pre-employments tests as applicable.
• High school diploma
• Formal training in construction equipment repair or equivalent experience
• Two to four years of working knowledge in the trade
• Ability to pass both technical and practical testing on mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
• Ability to operate all JCB manufactured equipment and forklift

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or related field
• Certification in construction equipment repair or equivalent experience
• Three to five years of working knowledge in the trade
• Formal technical training on mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies

• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and/or electronics
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
• Effective communication and problem solving skills
• Detail oriented and self-directed
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining a sense of urgency
• Ability to operate all JCB manufactured equipment or demonstrated ability to learn
• Flexible with work activities
• Ability to perform in a high-pressure environment and work well with other team members
• Must wear protective eyewear and safety shoes at all times

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to work flexible schedule, including but not limited to 12 hour shifts/7 days a week.
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10lbs, frequently and/or move up to 35lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to perform continuous, repetitious physical activities. These activities may involve fine movements or large motions.
• Must be able to grasp/pinch small items, reach out and up, and turn wrist.
• Must be capable of keeping pace with current production speed.
• Must be able to push/pull with reasonable force.
• Must be able to perform the following requirements of bending, stooping, climbing, kneeling, and standing for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work in multiple climates including: hot/cold temperatures, and dusty environment.
