QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
· Bachelor’s degree in a related field
· Valid orientation and mobility specialist certification from the Academy for Certification of Vision Rehabilitation and Education Professionals (ACVREP)
· Minimum of one (1) year of an approved internship or related experience in an education or rehabilitation setting
Special Knowledge & Skills
· Knowledge of medical information and indications for orientation and mobility services
· Ability to instruct students and manage behavior
· Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
