Accounting Manager

Our client company is financially stable, people-oriented, led by an experienced team, and ready to add an Accounting Manager to provide the financial information and support needed to take the company to the next level.

Skills

Solid experience with monthly close process, general ledger, and reporting
Experience with Work in Progress (WIP)
Experience with Sales & Use Tax
Microsoft Office suite proficiency
Strong system skills
Effective communication of financial information
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Positive, service-minded attitude

Responsibilities

Manage the monthly close process including preparation of financial statements
Prepare financial reporting package including metrics/KPIs
Assist with annual plan and quarterly forecasts
Monitor A/R, DSO, and assist with A/R collections
Ensure Sales & Use Tax compliance
Develop and implement financial controls and policies & procedures
Proactively seek process improvement opportunities

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business with concentration in Accounting or Finance
