As a Software Engineer, you will guide the technical evaluation phase in a hands-on environment throughout the sales process. You will be a key part of the sales team, acting as a technical advisor, and working with the product team as an advocate of your customers in the field. You will help our customers to achieve tangible data-driven outcomes through the use of Orkes Enterprise Cloud, establishing a clear architectural vision and identifying compelling use cases, helping our customers realize value. You'll grow as a leader in your field, while finding solutions to our customers' biggest challenges in orchestration, application building in various market segments including Retail (Logistics, Supply Chain etc..), FinTech, CyberSecurity, HealthCare etc. and cross vertical use cases like Application Modernization and building scalable, reliable platforms.

Your day-to-day at Orkes:

-You will be a Netflix Conductor and Orkes expert along with being great with engineering architecture and design.

-Lead your clients through evaluating and adopting Orkes and Netflix Conductor.

-Support your customers by authoring reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications.

-Engage with the technical community (both internal and customer) by leading workshops, seminars and meet-ups.

-Together with your Account Executive, you will form successful relationships with clients throughout your assigned territory to provide technical and business value. 

Qualities that will help you succeed:

-8+ Years professional experience as a Software Engineer

-Pre- or post-sales experience working within any one of the following sectors: Retail (Logistics, Supply Chain etc..), FinTech, CyberSecurity, HealthCare etc. and cross vertical use cases like Application Modernization and building scalable reliable platforms and providing thought leadership to these clients.

-Proven experience demonstrating technical concepts, including presenting and whiteboarding.

-Proven experience designing and implementing architectures within a public cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP).

-At least 3+ years with an IaC technology: Pulumi, Terraform/OpenTofu, Ansible, Helm, ArgoCD.

-Atleast 2+ years with an observability stack: Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Splunk, OpenTelemetry, DataDog, New Relic.

-Fluent coding experience in one or more of the following: Java, C#, Python, GoLang, Javascript.
