ServiceNow Developer (Remote)

About the Role:Oscar Technology is engaged with a client to find a ServiceNow Developer. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, with deep expertise in IT Operations Management (ITOM). This role will require extensive work in Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management to ensure the reliability and performance of our IT infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:• Lead the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions with a focus on ITOM.• Utilize in-depth knowledge of ITOM, including Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management, to enhance the organization's IT operations.• Develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow modules, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.• Work closely with IT teams, business stakeholders, and other developers to gather requirements and deliver customized solutions.• Implement best practices for ServiceNow development, ensuring code quality, scalability, and security.• Diagnose and resolve issues within the ServiceNow platform, providing timely support and updates.• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the ITOM space and other related areas.• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for all ServiceNow developments and configurations.Qualifications:• Minimum of 4 years of experience in ServiceNow development, with a strong focus on ITOM.• Proven expertise in ITOM, particularly in Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist (ITOM) preferred.• Proficient in JavaScript, Glide, and other relevant programming languages.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications:• Experience with other ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITAM.• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in a fast-paced, project-oriented environment.Benefits:• Medical/Dental/Vision coverage• Unlimited PTO• Annual bonus• Paid training & certifications• 401(k) with match• EquityOscar Associates Limited (US) is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
