Job Description:The Ecosystem Lead will also be responsible for identifying and managing partnerships, which will provide Otsuka with the necessary resources and expertise to execute the ecosystem strategy. They will work alongside the cross-functional team to identify, evaluate and prioritize potential partnerships, ensuring that these align with the ecosystem strategy and future business goals.Roles and Duties:• The timeframe for implementing a successful commercial strategy may vary depending on the complexity and maturity of the ecosystem• Lead an ecosystem's Health Science Associate (HSA) team to stimulate clinical demand and elevate the level of satisfaction experienced by patients and customers.• Adjust the regional/ecosystem plan to promote patient-centered care while meeting KPIs and performance targets that focus on patients.• Regularly scrutinize the healthcare sector and wider corporate landscape to detect industry-leading methods and instill them into Otsuka's inventive account management systems.• Leverage insights obtained from the field force and analytics to create informed and data-driven regional business plans.• Help HSAs in the process of shaping customer plans that are adjusted to market dynamics, catering to customer concerns and performing well against HSA and ecosystem indicators.• Collaborate with your ecosystem partners to develop and implement effective customer engagement programs and strategies that promote active engagement, utilizing direct customer interaction, primary and secondary market research, and field organization to gain valuable insights.• Implement a partnership strategy that involves engaging with HSAMs in the community and teaming up with prominent senior customers, such as IDN officials, to create patient-centered platforms for successful collaborations.• Acquire in-depth knowledge of the unique needs of every individual client as they strive towards improved patient outcomes, lower costs, and better quality healthcare. This objective can be reached by establishing, maintaining, and leveraging networks and relationships within the healthcare ecosystem and employing co-creation to devise solutions alongside customers.• Foster collaboration among different stakeholders within the healthcare system to achieve shared objectives that prioritize the needs and preferences of patients and customers. This could involve tailoring field deployments based on local demands and developing strategic plans and performance metrics that guide the ecosystem towards achieving its goals.• Develop an in-depth comprehension of the ecosystem and effective methods to influence the system for enhancing patient outcomes by assimilating, merging, and utilizing knowledge from established associations.• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethical behavior in all business interactions, aligning with Otsuka's guidelines and policies.• Foster a customer-centric culture that values collaboration above all else. Working together to solve problems will help to identify solutions that lead to continuous improvement in customer engagement and satisfaction.• Provide guidance and mentorship that enables the team to develop their skills and knowledge with respect to the business plan and priorities.• To achieve sustained success, it is essential to have sales targets and forecasts that are in sync with the long-term strategic goals of the company.• Utilizing innovative tools and techniques, we will identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce inefficiencies, and strengthen relationships with partners and customers, ultimately leading to increased profitability and market share.• Use customer feedback to inform your ecosystem approach, and design an experience that meets customer expectations and enhances engagement.• Incorporate a customer-centric focus across the portfolio by leveraging cross-functional team collaboration and seeking customer input and feedback.Qualifications:• This job opportunity calls for a Bachelor's degree, however applicants who have pursued postgraduate studies, particularly in the area of Business Administration, are preferred.• Managing account managers or partnership managers and devising account plans while negotiating contracts with multiple stakeholders in the healthcare ecosystem such as hospitals and health systems are essential skills required for the position.• The preferred candidate should have a diverse skillset that includes previous cross-functional industry experience with a commercial life sciences focus (eg. biotechnology or pharmaceuticals), along with a track record of engaging with key healthcare ecosystem players (e.g. payers, health systems).• Displaying proficiency in performing in a fluctuating and ambiguous work setting is a major strength• Proven ability to mentor, train, and coach team members to excel in their roles and exceed performance expectations.• Track record of delivering financial and other measurable targets, as well as qualitative goals, with regularity.• A solid understanding of strategy development, which encompasses contract strategy, supervision, and effective implementation, can greatly enhance your chances of success.• Experience in field sales management or marketing in the Neuroscience or Nephrology industry, or a related field, would be advantageous.• Proficient in understanding healthcare compliance, legal and regulatory conditions.Skills:• Answerability for Outcomes - Concentrate on crucial strategic objectives, be answerable for outstanding levels of achievement, and take an influential role in leading transformation.• Assess each option carefully and evaluate the trade-offs and potential risks before making any decisions.• Implement a strategy that keeps the needs and desires of our clients front and centre, placing the customer at the core of everything we do.• Persuasive Language - Use convincing, articulate and courteous language to influence stakeholders.
