The Role?

We are looking to hire a Manager, Growth Marketing to join the OUAI team! This role will report to the Director, Growth and Retention and will be instrumental in driving customer acquisition and retention strategies across various channels. As a key member of the digital team, you will help shape our growth marketing initiatives and optimize our marketing spend to maximize return on investment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Performance Marketing Management: Oversee the day-to-day management and execution of performance marketing activities, including strategy development.
  • Traffic & Growth Strategy: Drive growth and traffic to theouai.com by creating and implementing innovative digital marketing campaigns.
  • Campaign Development: Build and execute digital marketing campaigns across key paid channels to support overall business goals and drive efficient revenue.
  • Channel Management: Manage and execute marketing efforts across multiple paid channels, including paid social, search, and affiliate marketing.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Director of Growth + Retention and partner with the education, e-commerce, brand, and creative teams to ensure = marketing strategies are cohesive and effective.
  • Analytics & Testing: Utilize an analytical approach and maintain an always-on testing mindset to optimize performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Creative Strategy: Design and implement a short and long-term creative strategy roadmap, which includes industry research, briefing ad concepts, providing feedback to the design team, and reporting on test results.

A Typical Day in This Role:

Morning Routine: Dive into the Data

  • Log In and Analyze: Start your day by logging into the ad accounts. Begin by reviewing performance metrics from the previous day and week, focusing on KPIs such as ROAS, CTR, CVR and CPA. You’ll identify trends, spot anomalies, and prioritize areas needing immediate adjustments. This may involve tweaking ad copy, adjusting bids, reallocating budget across campaigns, or pausing underperforming ads.

Mid-Morning Strategy and Collaboration

  • Strategy Session: Review the upcoming content calendar, launch plans, and key campaign milestones with the Growth + Retention and DTC teams. Discuss strategic adjustments based on performance insights and align on messaging, target audiences, and goals for future ads. These sessions are critical for maintaining a consistent brand message and ensuring all teams are working toward the same objectives.
  • Account Optimization: Dive back into the ad accounts. Make real-time optimizations based on the morning’s analysis and team discussions. You’ll likely spend time A/B testing ad creatives, adjusting targeting parameters, and exploring new ad placements or formats. It’s crucial to monitor the accounts multiple times a day to ensure the best performance.

Afternoon Engagement and Development

  • Weekly/Bi-Weekly Meetings: Participate in scheduled calls with platform representatives (e.g., Google, Facebook) to discuss account performance, explore new ad types, placements, and beta opportunities. Leverage these discussions to stay on the cutting edge of digital advertising trends and bring back insights that can be tested in future campaigns.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Associate Manager of Growth to create briefs for new ad creatives. Provide insights based on performance data and guide the creative development process to ensure all new assets align with campaign goals and brand standards. You’ll also provide training and mentorship on platform-specific tactics, fostering a culture of learning and growth.

End of Day: Wrap-Up and Forward Planning

  • Performance Review and Reporting: Conduct a final review of ad performance for the day. Share insights with the Growth team and relevant stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned.
  • Plan for Tomorrow: Wrap up your day by outlining your plan of action for the next day. Review upcoming priorities, set your goals, and ensure you are prepared to start the next day ready to optimize and drive growth.

What You'll Bring:

  • "We Ask Questions to Find the best Answers" - we aim to foster a culture where curiosity and collaboration are encouraged by asking insightful questions, promoting active learning, and rewarding inquisitiveness to drive innovation and better solutions.
