Role Overview

The Developer Relations & Community Manager will play a crucial role in growing, fostering, and engaging a vibrant community of developers, researchers, and other stakeholders passionate about open-source AI. This individual will be responsible for creating a thriving ecosystem around the Oumi platform and its mission.

What you’ll do:

  • Community Growth: Develop and execute strategies to expand the Oumi community by attracting new members, including developers, researchers, and other AI enthusiasts.

  • Community Engagement: Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment where community members can actively participate, collaborate, and contribute.

  • Content Creation: Create engaging content such as blog posts, tutorials, documentation, and other materials to educate and inspire the community.

  • Event Management: Organize and host online and offline events, such as webinars, workshops, and hackathons, to facilitate community interaction and knowledge sharing.

  • Feedback Collection: Gather and analyze community feedback to identify areas for improvement in the Oumi platform, documentation, and overall community experience.

  • Collaboration: Facilitate collaboration among community members, encouraging them to share their expertise, projects, and contributions.

  • Advocacy: Serve as a strong advocate for the Oumi community internally, ensuring that community needs are understood and addressed.

  • Platform Promotion: Promote and drive adoption of the Oumi platform and its various features within the community.

  • Open Source Contribution: Encourage contributions to Oumi's open source projects and help community members navigate the process.
