Staff Accountant
Our Hospice is seeking a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team in Columbus, Indiana. We provide compassionate care to patients facing end-of-life challenges and are looking for individuals who share our values of integrity, excellence, and compassion.
Skills
- Strong MS Office skills, especially in Excel
- Experience with Blackbaud Financial Edge or similar accounting system
- Ability to work independently with strong analytical and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Reconcile accounts receivable general ledger balances
- Prepare and post month-end and year-end journal entries
- Assist in the preparation and review of department reports
- Ensure accounting procedures comply with GAAP requirements
- Participate in goal setting activities and financial audit processes
Education
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting
