This position contributes to the success of the entire warehouse operations by performing all essential functions of the Outbound department, packaging, consolidation and special handling.
Core Accountabilities
- Coordinate full time and temporary help daily, including training, monitoring performance, assigning work, and reporting performance to supervisors and manager.
- Communicate with other coordinators to ensure effective and efficient placement of outbound staff.
- Monitor morale and assist in the motivating of teammates.
- Troubleshoot hindrances to performance.
- Knowledge of the MARC system. Responsible for using MARC to print tickets, track cartons, etc. Assist in managing a consistent flow of work throughout the DC.
- Fill customer orders according to system generated pick tickets. Check, seal and label cartons for customer satisfaction.
- Strong understanding of day-to-day functions of the distribution center, to include picking, packing, Vas, Shipping, Planning, Returns and Receiving processes.
- Coordinate and supervise special handling accounts according to customer specification. Organize and manage multiple accounts and carton flow through VAS lanes. Ensure visual checks are being done periodically throughout the day to ensure processes are being followed to avoid vendor violations.
- Work with DC supervisor/Coordinators to manage daily workload including carton flow to maximize efficiency in all VAS areas.
- Communicate all challenges and opportunities with daily workload.
- Backup Final process or other outbound coordinators as needed.
- Provide support when needed to other areas within Outbound and other departments

Computer skills: MS Word, Windows, Excel, SAP and WMS.
May be required to perform a wide variety of physical tasks which are generally basic, repetitive, and routine in nature. May be required to sit or stand for long periods of time, in addition to being required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, or pull. May be frequently required to reach with hands and arms, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel small and medium sized components while operating machinery and exerting force or lift up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
