Outreach is a Christian community service organization providing counseling, case management, youth development, older adult service, and community development. For 50 years, Outreach has changed the lives of thousands of individuals, children, youth, and families in DuPage County, IL, and we are seeking to hire a diverse staff of highly competent professional employees to pursue Outreach's mission to restore hope and provide opportunities for people to become all that God intends them to be.Outreach is hiring a Full-time Case Manager at Outreach Carol Stream to implement case management services for residents in the Carol Stream community who are in crisis or seeking to improve their situation.Clinical Licensure supervision is available.Benefits & Compensation:• $20-$24 /hour. Life insurance, short-term, and long-term disability insurance.• 403(b) retirement plan.• Employee Assistance Program and Employee Discount.• A Mission-driven environment that fosters personal development.• Weekly clinical supervision and support for licensure!Responsibilities:• The Case Manager will provide casework and advocacy for clients, employment support, and distribution of private and government emergency assistance funds.• The Case Manager is responsible for maintaining casework and grant-required documentation, participating in community events and special projects, and partnering with a local network of churches to provide hardship assistance.• The Case Manager will provide focused efforts to support families and individuals within the clinical and education programs at Outreach Carol Stream.• Additional responsibilities include providing client transportation assistance as needed.• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Occasional evenings to meet client needs.Qualifications:• MA/ MSW with at least 1 year of case management experience, or BA/BSW with 1-5 years of experience in case management or related field.• Demonstrated skills in assessment, engagement, and collaborative problem-solving with clients.• Knowledge of public systems and resources.• Demonstrated sensitivity to the needs of low-income and culturally diverse populations.• Resilient, active listener, self-starter, and initiator.• Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively with a team.• Administrative experience and attention to detail.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.• A commitment to Outreach's Statement of Mission & Faith.• Bilingual (Spanish & English) preferred.
