The Role


As a Supply Growth Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the supply side of the marketplace. This position requires a strategic and entrepreneurial thinker with strong analytical and project management skills, capable of creating and driving initiatives that enhance the goals for the growth of our teacher base and class offerings and ensure a balanced and thriving marketplace. This role is highly experimental and fast-moving. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze data, and implement strategies to optimize supply and pricing levels. 


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Develop, implement, and monitor new programs and initiatives focused on increasing the number of educators and optimizing supply in targeted areas and in alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Utilize data analytics to assess supply and demand trends, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of supply growth programs.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, growth, and operations, to align supply growth efforts with broader company strategies.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content and messaging strategy focused on the supply side of the business. Craft compelling and targeted communications to effectively convey strategic insights and drive impactful initiatives that shape and optimize the supply. 


DESIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:


  • Previous marketplace experience - a deep understanding of marketplace dynamics, including supply side behaviors, competitor analysis, and industry trends.
  • Demonstrated excellence in project management and execution in a cross-functional environment.
  • Experience using SQL - demonstrated ability to analyze data to make informed decisions, optimize strategies, and achieve measurable results.
  • A highly resourceful and scrappy mindset, demonstrated by a willingness to experiment, take calculated risks, and think innovatively when approaching projects and initiatives. 
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.


OTHER CONSIDERATIONS:


  • A plus if you have experience in education or marketing


Outschool recruits across the US and Canada, and sets employee salaries to reflect local compensation and cost of living. For New York and California candidates, as well as candidates based in Seattle, WA the salary range for this role would be $140,000-160,000 USD.

For Washington candidates outside of Seattle, as well as Colorado candidates, the salary range for this role would be $126,000-$144,000 USD.
