Content Writer/SEO Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Content Writer/SEO Specialist to create compelling content that drives traffic, engages readers, and ranks well on search engines. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEO principles, exceptional writing skills, and the ability to create content that aligns with our brand’s voice and goals.

The ideal candidate must be technically inclined and able to quickly learn and use the client’s proprietary tool, Scraiquill, with provided training. Experience with SEMrush is essential, along with a strong background in managing Facebook and Twitter accounts, as the client is already advanced with LinkedIn and Reddit. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of writing expertise, technological proficiency, and adaptability. We're looking for an enthusiastic, engaged, and extroverted individual eager to contribute to a start-up environment. Additionally, the candidate must be able to adhere to specific guidelines on word usage when writing blogs, particularly for a law firm.

Responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Produce high-quality written content for American law firms across various platforms, including websites, blogs, and social media and other digital channels. Utilize our proprietary AI-powered application (Scraiquill) to streamline and optimize content creation for legal websites
• Content Strategy: Develop and execute content strategies that align with the company’s marketing goals and objectives. Manage content production for multiple clients, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to SEO best practices
• Collaboration: Coordinate with legal professionals for content approval and manage publication schedules.
• Keyword Research: Conduct thorough keyword research to identify target keywords and phrases that will drive traffic and improve rankings.
• On-Page SEO: Optimize content for search engines, including meta descriptions, headers, and internal linking strategies.
• Proofreading & Editing: Ensure all content is free of errors and aligns with the company’s tone and style guide. Review and refine AI-generated content, including adding relevant multimedia elements.
• Analytics: Monitor and analyze content performance using tools like Google Analytics, and adjust strategies as needed to improve results.
• Competitor Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to ensure content remains relevant and competitive.

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
• Strong technological aptitude and willingness to learn new systems
• Familiarity with SEO tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
• Experience in or willingness to learn about the legal sector
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Basic knowledge of HTML and web publishing is a plus.
• Must be willing to work the graveyard shift.
