Packer 2nd Shift, work 2pm to 10pm Sunday to Friday

I. GENERAL JOB FUNCTION

Responsible for the proper hand-packaging of quality corn or flour tortillas.

II. SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

1. Responsible for following Good Manufacturing Practices, especially good handwashing practices.

2. Hand package corn or flour tortillas.

3. Look at stacker mirror at all times to watch for tortilla jams.

4. Check the appearance and quality of tortillas.

5. Check bags to make sure proper packaging is being used.

6. Ensure catch-pan is cleaned constantly.

7. Inspect tortillas to assure they are free of foreign materials or contamination.

8. Maintain rework containers closed.

9. Rework the tortillas according to their formula.

10. Keep work area clean.

11. Report to work on-time to relieve the previous shift.

12. Follow directions from Production Lead and Supervisors.

13. Monitor the metal detector function once trained and approved by the HACCP team.

14. Comply with all Food Safety, Legality GMP’s Policies.

15. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $17.29 per hour
