PURPOSE:

To package, label, skid, and inspect product correctly for shipping in a timely manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Accurately package product (includes labeling, packing, computer entries)
Stack or arrange packaged product in the proper manner on the correct skid
Maintain machinery in proper working order by filling proper supplies, make adjustments as needed, identify potential problems and get help as needed
Keep machine and work area clean
Maintain acceptable rate
Ensure product being packed meets specifications through inspection (correct computer set-up, right label on boxes/right number of rolls in box/put on the right skid)
Follow rules to ensure work is performed in a safe manner
Maintain knowledge of QMS and ISO Standards
Maintain GUNG-HO attitude supporting the Berry Global vision statement, goals, and company culture
Follow and encourage GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices)
Ensure that safety is a priority by following all safety procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:

Work well with other team members
Report to work on time
Operate machinery and power lifts in a safe manner
Keep area clean and organized
To be successful in this job must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Starting pay $17.50 to $19.00 per hour
$1,000 attendance bonus first 90 days
Profit sharing bonuses paid every June and December
11 paid holidays
Only work 15 days per month
12 hour shifts
