Responsibilities

Responsibilities for the Engineering Manager -Print Operations are as follows:

• Support all technical aspects of printing for Pactiv Evergreen, with goals of maintaining quality and improving profitability.
• Manages significant capital projects including but not limited to requisitions, vendor visits, acceptance testing, and training site technical employees.
• Manages all PTVE printing vendors.
• Develops process methods and controls to meet quality standards.
• Troubleshoots printer issues and product defect printing issues. Provides technical guidance and leadership and training to resolve issues and educate site employees.
• Leads and/or supports new equipment, process, and product trials and production start-up efforts.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• BS in an Engineering discipline with at least 7 years of applicable dry offset printing experience
• Will consider at candidates without BS in Engineering if they have comparable experience
• Experience with printing equipment such as Polytype, Van Dam, Kase, Omso
• Recognized as a technical leader and key resource
• Knowledge of electronics and PLCs preferred
• Ability to manage multiple projects and establish priorities
• Familiar with Computer Based Maintenance Management Systems
• Supervisory experience with contract personnel and technical associates
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
• Ability to travel up to 50%

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $106,600 - $177,600 + bonus + benefits.  The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   At Pactiv Evergreen, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
