Technical Support Engineer I

PagerDuty empowers teams through the PagerDuty Operations Cloud. They are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to provide exceptional customer support, debug issues, and improve processes, all while thriving in a hybrid work environment.

Skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with programming languages (Ruby, Python, Perl)
  • Unix systems knowledge
  • Technical writing skills
  • Hands-on technical support experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service and product support to PagerDuty customers
  • Identify and resolve customer issues, taking escalations from Technical Support Specialists
  • Debug customer email and phone requests using ticketing systems
  • Set up and document monitoring systems integrated with PagerDuty
  • Write custom scripts, code samples, and integration guides

Education

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
