As the District Director of Clinical Resource Management at Palomar Health, you'll step into a pivotal role where your leadership will make a real difference in healthcare operations. You'll be responsible for the strategic oversight of crucial functions, including Case Management, Social Services, Utilization Review, and Clinical Documentation Improvement at our acute care hospitals throughout the district. This is more than just a management position; it's your chance to drive Clinical Excellence initiatives that ensure our facilities operate smoothly and our patients receive the best care possible. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing high-performing teams, coordinating with Managed Care Organizations, and implementing cost-saving strategies that optimize patient flow through the continuum of care. You’ll be mindful of both operational efficiency and financial viability, looking at ways to manage revenues and expenses effectively. If you have a knack for problem-solving, the ability to mentor and develop a team, and a true passion for enhancing patient outcomes, then this role is definitely for you! With a preference for candidates holding a Master’s degree in a related field and a solid background in clinical resource management, the ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment. Your proficiency with standard office software and your capability to engage with various stakeholders will be crucial to your success. Here at Palomar Health, we’re dedicated to maintaining our mission of providing exceptional healthcare, and we're excited to welcome a new leader who will help us continue this essential work.
