Controller

Papa is seeking a Controller to oversee the organization's accounting function and ensure accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles, along with proven experience in financial reporting and team leadership.

Skills

Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
Proven experience in financial reporting
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with accounting software systems

Responsibilities

Manage all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting
Prepare and publish timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Develop and implement internal controls and accounting policies
Work closely with the Strategic Finance team to analyze financial data
Ensure compliance with tax regulations
Identify and recommend improvements to accounting processes
Partner with other departments for accurate financial reporting

Education

Bachelor's or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
CPA strongly preferred
