Paralegal

Job Overview: The Corporate Paralegal will provide assistance to our in-house attorneys in all aspects of corporate legal matters. This role requires the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, and to take initiative in anticipating legal needs. The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the submission of documents during the contract negotiation phase, supporting the drafting, editing, and reviewing of various commercial contracts and agreements
• Track contractual documents, obtain signatures, deliver required documents/exhibits for the execution phase, maintain contracts database, and keep track of expiration dates and changes over time
• Assist in the preparation and filing of regulatory and other compliance reports and documents
• Assist in the management of corporate governance documents such as board meeting minutes and resolutions
• Coordinate with outside counsel on legal matters as needed
• Assist on a variety of corporate legal issues, projects, and initiatives, as needed

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• Paralegal Certification preferred
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a corporate legal environment (law firm or in-house)
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat and legal research databases
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong work ethic and ability to multitask
