Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable Detailer to work with sub assembly components on 1st shift (6:00am start time). Parker Hannifin offers competitive pay with the starting rate for this position currently at $22.33 per hour. Parker Hannifin also offers comprehensive benefits including, but not limited to: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k/retirement planning benefits, merit increases until reaching top out rates (currently $26.67/hour for this role), and quarterly profit sharing bonus'.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
Perform the required duties in accordance safety guidelines and lean principles by complying with all safety procedures and all company policies.
Obtain work orders.
Select parts required for the customer order.
Load and unload the parts to the washer or to the assembly table.
Assemble components in accordance with standard procedure and/or work order instructions.
Report shortages and defects in materials or equipment to direct supervisor.
Utilize various hand tools, specialty tools, lifting devices, and basic measuring equipment to complete assigned tasks.
Performs visual inspection of parts and reviews basic blueprints/diagrams to ensure components are being manufactured in accordance with the part specification.
Completes various types of paperwork related to production reporting.
Maintains work areas by cleaning and organizing the space and equipment.
Actively participates in company-sponsored training programs.
Deals ethically with Parker's customers, suppliers, fellow associates and the general public.
Completes additional duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or G.E.D
Preferred 6 months prior professional experience as related to this role.
Mechanical aptitude
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and complete tasks
Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to hear and speak. The employee must regularly stand, walk, sit and use hands to grasp and handle. The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 40 lbs. Specific vision requirements include close vision, ability to focus, and depth perception. This position may be exposed to oils, dirt, fumes and moving equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
