SUMMARY:The primary function of this position is to accept payment from customers for parking services and facilitate the flow of traffic through the gate. Additionally, this position is responsible for providing outstanding customer service to our guests.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Verify ticket opening and closing numbers for issuance during shift
Count change fund cashier bank at beginning of shift to ensure starting total is accurate and sign off on total
Collect payment and/or monitor displayed parking passes
Maintain security of cash
Make change and issue tickets and/or receipts to customers for every transaction
Provide direction and assistance to guests as needed
Resolve customer issues with the aid of Head Cashier
Maintain cleanliness of booth and surrounding area
Conduct timely checks to ensure proper inventory and work supplies are located in tub.
Assume flagger/ VOR (vehicle occupancy rate) counter duties if no cashier positions available
Special projects and assignments as business dictates
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to use basic math skills and provided change to customers
Ability to read and execute instructions
Ability to problem solve and seek assistance when necessary
Excellent customer service skills
Prior experience as a cashier
Prior experience operating a credit card machine or calculator
Ability to effectively handle customer service issues
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
Ability to work all full Stadium events
Ability to work in inclement weather.
The noise level in the WORK ENVIRNOMENT is usually loud on event days
