The Administrative Assistant for the Presidential Scholars Program is an integral member of the honors program management team performing cross-functional tasks to manage the functions and activities of assigned projects within the program. Responsible for database development and data entry. Manages a quality honors program by reviewing information for accuracy. Supports the work of the Executive Director to accomplish programatic goals. Work on program initiatives relating to community outreach, program planning, and student enrichment. Has in-depth knowledge of the processes/procedures associated with institutional function, program management and a strong information systems expertise in the latest technologies.

Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree or completion of two years in an accredited post-secondary institution of learning and three to five years of appropriate experience, or High School Diploma and 9 years of appropriate experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or completion of four years in an accredited post-secondary institution of learning and 5 years of appropriate experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Review of applications will begin immediately until the position is filled. Successful completion of a background check is required for appointment to this position once an offer has been made.
The hourly rate for this position is 34.81 per Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), Salary Schedule 91.
Work Schedule
Days/Hours: M-TH, 10am-4pm, in person; work schedule subject to change based on needs of the department.
