Class Summary
Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation Operations maintains and operates the county's award-winning park system and provides high quality parks and recreation facilities, innovative programs, and quality services to meet the broad-based needs of Gwinnett's diverse population, fostering a sense of community, creating a safe and secure environment, and enhancing Gwinnett's quality of life.
The incumbent will performs a variety of clerical and customer services functions, including: answering phone calls from the public, light typing of emails/flyers, filing, copying, faxing, opening and distributing mail, and/or performing other related activities. The ideal candidate must have customer services experience including flexibility, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
The Grade for this position is 97.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be at least 16 years old.
Two years customer service experience preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish is helpful.
This job entails fiduciary responsibility and will require a credit check.
