About the role

• We’re looking for a bright and forward thinking corporate, commercial, employment or otherwise transactional lawyer with prior experience in-house
• You will work with our talented team to provide once per month, one hour product feedback sessions to help us build a state of the art legal tech product
• Our product is aimed at providing community-driven intelligence around the contract lifecycle, for example enabling users to understand market standards at the clause level
• You can help us ensure our product is built with both legal insights and cultural insights with respect to change management in businesses
• You will be available for any ad-hoc questions from our team on legal questions and issues
• Providing support on our social media strategy & driving Genie AI presence in the local & international market
• You’ll be able to help us build the future of legal technology by advising our product teams

Requirements

About you

• You are a risk taking, commercially minded lawyer keen to learn / develop your knowledge about startups
• You will have worked as a commercial lawyer in house and have experience drawing up, reviewing & advising on contracts
• You enjoy trying new apps and technology to automate your work
• You can quickly establish yourself as a trusted partner and source of expert legal advice among your colleagues and relevant external stakeholders. You are also willing to respectfully challenge others when you need to

• Our interview process can happen as quick as 2 weeks!
• After an initial phone call with our TA Manager, Charlette you will progress to meeting our Co-Founder & CEO Rafie!
