We are looking for a Part Time License Desk Specialist to support our Modern Solutions Department.
Summary:
Responsible for contacting existing and new software licensing customers, managing a shared inbox/phone que, processing customer orders and vendor purchase orders. Acting as a liaison for sales reps, vendors and customers for the purpose of growing our current software and cloud revenue and customer breadth.
Responsibilities:
- Grow current software and licensing venue by working with D&H sales reps and the vendor.
- Remain customer-facing and sales rep-facing for all questions.
- Responsible for all aspects of software growth including renewals, vendor SPA’s, Open Licensing, Cloud, and customer/vendor satisfaction.
- Make proactive customer contacts daily to grow sales volume & breadth of software products at D&H.
- Drive daily focused outbound calls as well as replying to direct and License desk emails.
- Manage lead development, follow-up and closure; Provide support necessary to develop leads and follow them to closure.
- Responsible for the end-to-end operational duties by creating and submitting orders within the D&H systems.
- Develop and remain knowledgeable on core product groups (Cloud, Productivity, Server, Security, Back up) and be able to demo and present value prop on each.
- Establish strong relationship with customers and sales teams and vendor contacts.
- Build an understanding of Vendor programs, product offerings and key competitive products.
- Attend specific trainings with D&H and vendor personnel and online, as needed or required.
- Answer phone and respond to all customer and vendor requests.
- Identify market and product gaps and communicate findings to D&H and vendor management.
- Manage vendor catalog for product additions, deletions and price changes.
- Place vendor purchase orders, return requests and rebates.
- Manage vendor confirmations, forward to sales rep/customer as needed.
- Project a professional company image through phone and email interaction.
- Must be able to adhere to company established attendance policy.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and ethics.
Requirements:
o College education preferred.
o 1 to 3 years office experience.
