The Lilly Library is one of the most prominent special collections libraries in North America, with vast eclectic holdings ranging from medieval manuscripts to modern comic books. Our talented staff work hard to connect researchers with the rare books and manuscripts that enable their work, to curate exhibitions that spark interest and delight, and to provide students with high-impact learning experiences.

• Responsible for retrieving materials requested by patrons in the Reading Room.
• Assists with tasks related to the care of the Lilly’s materials, including conducting inventory, shifting materials in the stacks, shelving materials, shelf reading, and other duties as assigned.

The person in this position must be able to move up to 50 pounds and be able to move heavy book trucks and/or a dolly. This position requires stooping, crouching, standing most of shift, and walking.
