About the Opportunity 

We are currently looking for an innovative and hands-on Content Creator/Graphic Designer to join our talented Marketing team. Working collaboratively with our Art Director and Marketing team members, you will be responsible for creating engaging content across multiple platforms, including social media posts, EDMs, videos and podcasts that resonate with our clients and showcases our unique collection of rugs, along with graphic design tasks including catalogues and price lists. This role requires a passion for storytelling and design, a strong grasp of current trends, and the ability to translate brand objectives into compelling narratives.  

• Collaborate with the Art Director to develop strategies and produce brand-aligned content, including social media posts, videos, infographics, podcasts, product assets, catalogues, price lists and EDMs. This involves ideating, filming, editing, recording and designing across various platforms and programs. 

• Review and edit visual content to ensure consistency, accuracy and alignment with brand objectives. 

• Ensure content creation stays within budget, optimising resource allocation for cost-effectiveness. 

• Help manage and monitor Armadillo’s social media accounts (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn and YouTube), and assist with the creation of content schedules and calendars in collaboration with the Marketing team. 

• Track content performance using analytics tools, and report on engagement and its impact on business goals.  

• Pitch new, innovative and on-trend ideas for content and campaigns—such as videos, EDMs and series—with an eye on potential commercial impact. 

About You 

• A minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a content creator or graphic designer in an applicable industry. 

• Experience using After Effects, Premiere Pro, CapCut, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. 

• Ability to identify the latest trends and viral moments and jump on these opportunities as soon as they arise. 

• Experience managing social media accounts and creating, posting and monitoring content. 

• Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices to help drive engagement. 

• Finely-honed graphic design skills and grasp of principles of design.  

• Proficiency in social media platforms and analytics tools. 

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. 

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. 

• Experience in adhering to brand guidelines. 

• A willingness to learn and support the Marketing team with an agile mindset.
