Partiful's mission is to cultivate friendships through social events.
We believe parties (and other social events) are the most effective way to meet new people and make friends. We want to make it easier to plan these events and coordinate with groups, creating more opportunities for meaningful connection.
Our product helps you throw incredible events and meet new people, starting with memorable party pages that make it easy to plan & communicate with guests. (Create a party page to see how it works.) We're building new ways to streamline planning, connect meaningfully in the real world, and make connections between friends-of-friends.

Our company is backed by top-tier VC’s including Andreessen Horowitz and Google Ventures, and advised by the founders of some of the most successful consumer social products ever made. We are a small team of under 20 people, with backgrounds including Facebook, Snapchat, Google, Palantir, Princeton, Brown, MIT, Stanford and Harvard.
Opportunity
We are looking for a creative, scrappy and social individual to help grow Partiful. In this role, you’ll:
1. Develop and Execute Market Activation Strategy:
- Create a strategy to activate the market, identifying target communities, key focus areas, and growth opportunities.
- Explore event activations, targeted campaigns, and promotional initiatives to drive brand awareness and user adoption.
- Continuously experiment, refine and adapt the strategy based on learnings, feedback and data.
2. Build Strong Relationships within the Community:
- Establish relationships with pre-existing power hosts within the community.
- Identify and cultivate connections with new relevant hosts, brands & organizations.
- Conduct user education with relevant hosts.
- Act as a liaison between the community and the company, ensuring open communication and collaboration.
3. Analyze and Monitor Trends:
- Utilize our analytics tools to gather data and insights on existing trends within the market.
- Monitor emerging trends and shifts in community engagement, technology, and culture.
- Integrate these insights into evolving the market activation strategy.
Ideal Candidate
You’re likely a good fit it you:
- Are adaptive, creative and scrappy - able to embrace a hands-on approach to problem-solving, decision-making, and experimentation, and willing to pivot quickly as we learn.
- Love bringing people together through social settings, and naturally build new, authentic relationships in your everyday life.
- Have exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Have an ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Live & breathe your city and have a firm grasp on its events landscape.
- Have proven experience in community development, event planning, and/or marketing (preferred).
- Have a Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
