External Innovations Manager

Lead the team in proactively scouting for potential innovation opportunities, emerging technologies, and market trends.
Foster and maintain high-level relationships with key stakeholders, including companies within the Holding’s portfolio, external innovation partners, startups, research institutions, and industry experts.
Conduct comprehensive assessments of the feasibility and strategic fit of potential opportunities through advanced market research and a rigorous dealflow selection process.

Oversee the team in conducting in-depth market analysis and competitive intelligence to identify gaps and opportunities within portfolio companies.
Provide strategic insights and regular reports to senior leadership on market trends, competitive threats, and potential disruptive forces.
Translate market insights into actionable recommendations for portfolio companies and lead the discovery efforts as needed.

Personally lead negotiations and establish high-level partnerships, joint ventures, and collaborations with external organizations to drive innovation.
Manage relationships with external partners at an executive level and oversee the execution of collaborative projects.

Build and lead a high-performing team of professionals focused on scouting, innovation intelligence, and strategic partnerships.
Instill and foster a culture of innovation within the team and across the organization.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Azerbaijani and English is a must; Turkish and Russian is preferable.
Experience in startup environment or within corporate innovation domain is highly desirable.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Corporate Finance, Business Analytics, or innovation related fields is preferable.
Computer Skills: Professional presentation skills, Microsoft Office programs, Google Suite apps, WordPress, Mail Chimp.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple task and priorities concurrently.
