Patient Access Representative

The patient access rep is responsible for patient intake, scheduling, registering, verifying insurances, tracking insurance authorizations, collecting copays, answering phones and providing general secretarial support functions.

High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. Patient access rep must have strong communication and customer service skills and be able to work in a fast-paced front office environment. Must be able to multitask, prioritize duties, and have strong organizational skills. Experience in an outpatient setting is strongly preferred but not required.
