Patient Care Coordinator

Sequoia is looking to hire a Care Coordinator. Applicants must be dedicated to providing support to the provide, organization and manage all aspects of a patients care.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating and communicating with all patient and their healthcare team
• Following up and managing all referrals and orders for patients
• Collecting copay and coinsurance prior to the patient being seen
• Confirm and re-verify insurance and demographic information for all follow up appointments prior to patient being seen
• communicate and coordinate follow up appointments with patients and the provider
• verify all patient information, orders, and results needed by the provider prior to the patient being seen

Qualifications:

• Experience and knowledge verifying all commercial and government insurance
• Experience and knowledge with payer portals
• Insurance authorization and referrals
• Must be detailed oriented, organized, able to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Able to keep up with high volume workflow

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
