Patient Dining Associate

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required. In lieu of high school diploma or equivalent, two years of food service/customer service experience is required.
• Knowledge of menu editing or diet modification desirable.
• On-the-job training is provided.
• Must be knowledgeable in basic computer skills.
• Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Must be able to communicate and cooperate with all hospital personnel in every conceivable circumstance.
• Must possess necessary skills to effectively operate hospital's admission, discharge and transfer (ADT) system and other computer-based systems that manage patient-care records.
• Must be able to handle direct patient contact.
