Overview:
This is a full-time onsite position.

Clinical administration supports the clinical and educational efforts within the pre-doctoral and postgraduate clinic operations. The clinical administration staff provides courteous, professional and effective support services and is committed to providing patient, student, and faculty with information, guidance, and quality service to contribute to a successful dental clinic experience. This includes maintaining a safe environment, assuring that patients’ dental needs are addressed in a caring, confidential, timely, and thorough manner that patients are informed about their treatment and clinic procedures, and those patients’ finances are handled accurately and efficiently.
What You'll Do:
Under close supervision of the Practice Administrator, the Patient Registration Assistant I works onsite in a busy unit in the clinic to provide excellent customer service to patients and assists in the operation and management of the front desk.
Responsibilities include:
  • Patient Registration
    • Greet Patients
    • Conduct patient intake to collect/verify patient data
    • Schedule and confirm appointments
    • Respond to patient inquiries
  • Financial
    • Ensure patient insurance details and verification
  • Administrative Support
    • Maintain patient electronic records
    • Participate in regular team meetings
    • Answer phone and other inquiries
What We're Looking For:
Basic Requirements:
  • Knowledge and experience typically acquired through completion of a High School degree/equivalency and 0-1 year of job-related experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
