What You’ll Be Doing:
Job Summary
-
The Patient Services Coordinator is responsible for providing inbound customer service and making outbound calls to collect patient liability on pre and post-procedure case balances.
Responsibilities
-
Assist patients with billing/collections issues.
-
Responsible for an assigned queue.
-
Arrange/negotiate payment options for patients.
-
Email invoices or itemized bills to patients via secured email.
-
Overcome patient objections and offer suggestions to achieve payment results.
-
Responsible for proper notation and updating the status of accounts.
-
Performs follow-up by proper utilization of computer generated reports.

Informs management of problem accounts promptly.
-
Research accounts on issues to find a resolution.
-
Strict adherence to all company policies and procedures.
-
Works with management to obtain corporate financial goals and objectives.
-
Performs scheduled hours, staggered shifts in accordance to the needs of the company.

May perform other duties not specifically listed in this position description as assigned by manager.
Marginal Duties

Education and/or Experience

College degree or related experience preferred

Healthcare administrative experience preferred

Technical Requirements:
We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.

Compensation Range: The minimum salary for this position is $21.00, plus benefits. Salaries are determined by the skill set required for the position and commensurate with experience and may vary above and below the stated amounts.
