JOB SUMMARY The UX Designer will be responsible for all design aspects of assigned project from individual icon design and layout to the complete design of the entire product. The individual will work closely with product managers and the IT development teams throughout each stage of the product development cycle to be sure approved prototypes are preserved through implementation. In order to be successful, the UX Designer will need to be a critical thinker with a clean visual design sense, a strong technical background, and an eye for making things better. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Help to define the user model and user interface for new and existing products Develop high level and/or detailed storyboards, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate user interaction and design ideas Design innovative systems and provide graphic elements for implementation Document and maintain UX and design specifications Support the ongoing graphic needs of our products Help gauge... the usability of new and existing products, making constructive suggestions for improvement Maintain understanding of the latest in UX discipline, design and industry best practices and contribute to thought leadership for Paycor around human interaction with technology REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Factors Psychology, and/or related fields; Master's level degree is preferred 7
years work experience, including demonstrated experience in designing usable web based interfaces leveraging HTML, Flash, Silverlight, JavaScript, and CSS. An outstanding body of work demonstration the successful delivery of innovative digital interface design solutions Demonstrated experience with:
o user-centric design, formal usability studies, and information design o working with multiple project teams simultaneously o designing smart phone/tablet applications preferred Proficiency in industry-standard graphic design tools:
o Adobe Creative Suite o rapid prototyping tools Ability to o facilitate and moderate a variety of usability testing methodologies o create outstanding design and explain why it is outstanding o adjust to unexpected changes in demand and market conditions o foster collaboration, negotiate tactfully across different functional groups o work well on a team and work independently o manage to on time/on budget delivery Strong organizational skills and conceptual thinking abilities Excellent technical writing and documentation skills Capable of presenting complex issues and information in a clear and concise way Strong cognitive skills including the ability to investigate & analyze information to develop meaningful and relevant insights Returning Users Previous Applicants:
