At Paylocity, people matter most and have always been at the heart of our business.As part of the Sales & Marketing team, you’ll help us solve challenges and succeed as you grow and understand the unique needs of our clients and tailor easy-to-use solutions to deliver the performance they need.With a position in Sales & Marketing, you’ll strengthen our relationships with clients, anticipate their needs, and think outside the box to unlock new possibilities.Position Overview:The Senior Director, Demand Generation is responsible for setting the growth strategy and overseeing the execution of demand-generation and customer campaigns and tactics to continue on our growth trajectory. Overseeing a team of digital marketers that execute our digital paid media, SEO, landing pages, and email marketing, you will drive a key investment and growth lever in the company.You will work closely with our Sales Leaders, Account Executives, Sales Development, and Marketing Operations to achieve our growth goals. This is a great opportunity for an experienced marketer to build out an integrated global demand generation function that can scale into the future. You will lead and scale a team of campaign marketers focusing on segment and industry growth strategy & tactics focusing on high-quality digital channels and multi-channel campaign execution. This role will work closely with members of the extended marketing team to create, manage, and execute our demand generation strategies, plans and programs. You know what it takes to recruit, train and develop teams and motivate, enable, and remove obstacles and partner effectively across the organization with senior executives.The ideal individual is a revenue-driven marketer who knows what it takes to drive pipeline across channels. The ideal person for this role has built exceptional demand gen functions in the past or has experience with a more advanced program with a track record for hitting targets and driving results. In addition to defining strategy and plans, this person is also highly analytical and can dive into data to uncover insights and business trends.Responsibilities:Set the digital marketing strategy and execution plans across the prospect journey: advertising, website, email, etc.Drive performance efficiency improvements in digital paid media ads, organic traffic, website conversion, email and lifecycle marketing, and app engagement.Bring the brand, campaign, and message to life across all digital to resonate with the target audience.Define a quarterly demand generation plan with key programs for both internal and external 3rd party options including digital and events, working closely with our content and events team. Create field marketing focus to drive positive pipeline and revenue impact.Drive funnel optimization programs across multiple stakeholders including lead flow, scoring, nurture, and automation. Partner with SDR and Sales leadership to build out successful lead flow and follow up processes.Create a well-orchestrated customer nurture and acquisition journey for top, mid, and bottom funnel prospects.Own meeting and revenue targets and define the growth plan, channel mix, data & analytics to drive net new and expansion leads across all segments. Track performance metrics and budget management on a daily or weekly basis and iterate quickly to optimize, proactively detect, and course correct immediately. Provide regular updates and feedback to the Sales and Leadership teams. Recommend improvements to the marketing technology stack and tools to drive continual improvement including greater use of automation and personalization.Lead the strategy for executing data-driven integrated campaigns in partnership with other marketing teams to reach target audiences and in alignment with strategic market moments to extend reach.Grow a team of high-performing marketing leaders and create a data-driven culture and environment of learning and continuous improvement on content quality and speed of execution.Requirements:15+ years of senior experience in leading demand generation in B2B SaaS.Track record of creating and launching breakthrough digital brand creative on websites, digital ads, and email communications with a strong, demonstrable focus on pipeline/revenue growth and high-quality execution.Exceptional execution and prioritization skills to develop practical solutions and lead the day-to-day execution in the trenches.Excellent cross croup collaboration and influence skills, with prior success in aligning various departments on common vision and achieve shared goals.People-focused leader with prior experience managing creative and collaborative teams and agencies that support the organization and link to overall business objectives and metrics. Prior experience in change management in unifying functional areas and building new teams.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and adept at working with cross-functional executive leadership.BS/BA degree in Marketing, Business or related field (MBA highly preferred)Paylocity is an equal-opportunity employer. The pay range for this position is $159,000 - $235,000 /yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here.
