Overview:
The ideal Payroll Administrator will be responsible for supporting the payroll team that runs a complex biweekly and semi-monthly US, Puerto Rico, and Canada payroll, inclusive of over 3,100 employees. Flexibility to work in an office setting as well as working productively and independently from home office.

Responsibilities:
Knowledge of ADP Vantage or other ADP applications is a plus. Experience with ADPR Reporting, ADP General Ledger, ADP Databridge, ADP Tax Services, and AsureForce or Kronos time and attendance systems, Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word and Microsoft Teams a must, along with the ability to multitask and troubleshoot.
Strong auditing skills and a high level of attention to detail a must. The Payroll Administrator will be an integral member of the payroll team and will also work closely with HRIS.
Strong focus on AsureForce time and attendance system. Addressing employee issues as they arise.-
Experience with multiple shift employees and differentials a plus

Leave Management tracking and processing for employees out on any type of leave.

Experience with ADP Vantage or other ADP platforms

ADP Payroll - entering and verifying employee maintenance changes in ADP.

ADPR reporting - Creating and running reports

Experience with Canadian payroll a plus. Knowledge of Ontario Workers Comp, Canadian Retirement Plans (DPSP, RRSP) helpful but not necessary.

Updating SOP documentation as needed.

Assist team members with auditing on a per-payroll basis, especially during pay weeks.

Provide support as needed and be open to learning other duties related to Payroll.

Assist team with year-end and new-year activities, including the preparation of W2 forms, tax reporting, and other year-end federal/state requirements.

Maintaining compliance and participate in all internal and external audits as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of High School Degree with experience in payroll. Bachelor’s degree preferred

5+ years of large company payroll experience (1,000+ employees)

Mid-level Project Management skills a plus – Example: System Upgrade Management

High Level of Attention to Detail, research analysis and analytical skills, and effective communication/customer service skills

Must be able to multitask and troubleshoot while under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Must be well organized

Ability to communicate effectively to all employee levels.

Must be able to work overtime especially during pay weeks.

Experience with systems conversions helpful, testing procedures, and/or process improvements

Working experience of payroll tax at the federal, state, and local levels.
