Payroll Associate III

GAI Consultants is looking for a Payroll Associate to assist with duties and tasks associated with the payroll function for 700 employees. Transforming ideas into reality since 1958, GAI is an engineering and environmental consulting firm providing local expertise to worldwide clients in the energy, transportation, development, government, and industrial markets. Job Duties:

• Uses UKG Pro payroll software, inputs payroll data, and processes payroll for direct deposit payments.
• Processes irregular payments such as bonuses.
• Answers employee questions related to payroll and resolves issues.
• Maintains PTO records.
• Helps to ensure payroll practices meet government compliance.

Experience and Education:

• High school graduation or GED from an accredited school required.
• 3-4 years of related experience working with UKG Pro in a payroll-related position required.
• College coursework in payroll/accounting/finance preferred.

Competencies:

• Organizational skills.
• Microsoft Office, UKG and Deltek Vantagepoint skills.
• Leadership skills.
